We are seeking a versatile and technically skilled IT professional with a broad knowledge base across key infrastructure domains.

The ideal candidate will not necessarily be an expert in each area, but should have working knowledge and hands-on experience with core IT systems, be able to troubleshoot effectively, and support the ongoing operation and evolution of our IT environment.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Provide general support and maintenance for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user environments.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining SQL Server databases (basic querying, backups, and monitoring).
  • Support and configure Web Servers, primarily IIS (Internet Information Services).
  • Administer Active Directory (user and group management, permissions, GPOs).
  • Participate in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of server and network infrastructure.
  • Contribute to IT security practices, including patch management, access control, and basic incident response.
  • Support virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) for both server and desktop systems.
  • Assist with technical documentation and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver IT projects

 

 

Who You Are:

  • Solid understanding of core IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience with or exposure to:
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • IIS and web application / services hosting
    • Active Directory and domain services
    • Network fundamentals (switching, firewalls, routing, DNS, DHCP)
    • Basic IT security principles
    • Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks or priorities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), or VMware VCP.
  • Experience working in hybrid on-premise/cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting tools.
