The VP of Business Development, Prisma is responsible for striking partnerships and/or expanding key strategic partnerships with media and technology companies. With deep existing partnerships across TV networks, social networks, programmatic technologies and rich data companies, our ongoing business development efforts are focused on empowering innovation in a very fast moving market.

 

What You Will Do:

 

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the AdTech ecosystem and its players, including programmatic, social media, CTV and data companies.  Linear TV experience not required but helpful. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, technology and data companies.
  • Work closely with senior executives and product leadership to develop strategies that lead to greater convergence of the fragmented advertising supply chain.
  • Execute new partnerships that support the ongoing business and growth strategies.
  • Individual contributor role, with opportunity for management working closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive the support and resources needed for successful adoption and implementation of Mediaocean solutions.
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and strong intellectual horsepower to understand complex client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Represent Prisma and Mediaocean at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our brand and share our vision.

 

Who You Are:

 

  • 8-10 years successful AdTech business development experience focused on ad technology (e.g., DSP, SSP, ad server, measurement, etc.), media companies (e.g., network group, streaming service, digital publisher, etc.), data (e.g., currency, verification, outcomes) or in marketing (e.g., major agency or advertiser).
  • Ability to create and nurture strong relationships with partners
  • Exceptional communication skills; articulates complex concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Intellectually curious; passion for industry trends and advancements
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments; excels in team settings
  • SaaS experience preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and oral/written communication skills
  • Self-starter, driven, motivated, confident, agile, problem solver, consultative, collaborative

This is a high-visibility position and requires a heightened level of engagement; applicants with accessibility to our New York or Chicago offices will be considered. Our budget for this role is $175,000 - $200,000 base + variable compensation.
