Prisma Platform Engineering Intern

What You Will Do:

As a Platform Engineer Intern on the team, you will help craft the future of our service by building, testing, and shipping new user facing and data driven features using Python, SQL, and Java. You will work closely with people across engineering, product, and design to help develop an amazing experience for our agency & brand customers, while also supporting backend services and data workflows that power our platform.

Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to build and improve user facing features and backend services
• Writing clean, well tested, and maintainable code in Python and Java using modern development tools
• Developing and optimizing SQL queries for analytics, reporting, and application data needs
• Participating in code reviews, team stand ups, and technical discussions Contributing to the development, debugging, performance tuning, and reliability of scalable software solutions
• Supporting integration between application services and databases, including data validation and troubleshooting
• Gaining hands on experience with real-world applications that impact agency and brand customers
• Learning and applying best practices in software engineering (testing, documentation, version control, and secure coding) within a collaborative team environment

Who You Are:

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a relevant degree
• Basic understanding of software development concepts and programming fundamentals
• Experience with one or more programming languages, specifically Python and/or Java
• Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts (tables, joins, indexing, and query optimization basics)
• Passionate about building reliable, user-focused experiences and systems that perform well at scale
• You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your users
• You are passionate about building technology at scale and solving challenges for your customers in creative and innovative ways
• You enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment

Our 2026 Summer Internship Program is scheduled to run from June 1st through July 31st. Selected interns can expect to work 40 hours per week. Compensation for this role is $19.00/hour.
