What You Will Do:
Mediaocean is taking action to reduce their carbon footprint while providing the opportunity for all stakeholders to create a more sustainable advertising ecosystem and drive social impact through our corporate strategy. Mediaocean believes it is their obligation to leverage their platform and influence to advance sustainable business operations and culture for our employees and stakeholders. Mediaocean’s Corporate Social Responsibility intern will provide program development capacity through market research, strategic planning, partnerships, and policy analysis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct gap analyses to grow and enhance greenhouse gas data collection efforts
- Improve our annual ESG assessment score and GHG inventory
- Help create and publish an annual sustainability report
- Create and/or enhance our corporate social responsibility initiatives/projects
- Develop communication materials for internal and external audiences
- Support programming and grow the employee-based Green Dream Team
- Perform market research on the state of corporate social responsibility, and environmental, social, governance, and sustainability in Ad Tech
- Collaborate with various departments through the organization
Who You Are:
- Passionate about corporate social responsibility and sustainability in Ad Tech
- Knowledgeable on current corporate ESG reporting, regulations, and requirements
- Data driven and analytically minded
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree a bonus
- Proficient in Excel, Smartsheet or other project management tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities or last-minute requests
- Attention to detail and highly organized
Our 2026 Summer Internship Program is scheduled to run from June 1st through July 31st. Selected interns can expect to work 40 hours per week. Compensation for this role is $19.00/hour.
This position is open to candidates who are able to commute to our Chicago office.
